Key Features & Benefits

Fast, Hi-Res Recording of All Camera Types

The Vigil™ DVR H.264 covers all your bases by offering 4CIF (704 X 480), real-time recording of all your standard cameras, and yet allows you to add popular IP cameras as needed with resolutions up to a stunning 6284 x 1189 pixels (Super HD) and beyond.

Amazing Video - Get amazing video from all of your cameras with the DVR H.264 Hybrid Recorder which utilizes built-in hardware compression based on the latest H.264 standard. Running our Vigil software, the DVR H.264 captures very high resolution video from standard composite cameras at a full 4CIF resolution while maintaining a full 30 IPS recording rate for each camera.

Faster Streaming - Dual compression technology means this Vigil recorder will optimize video for network streaming allowing the best performance possible across your network.

Megapixel IP - While your organization is currently utilizing composite cameras, you might want to add an IP camera or two today, or even eventually replace all of your composite cameras with IP cameras. The H.264 recorder is a true hybrid flex recorder meaning that it can be used as a composite recorder, IP camera recorder (including megapixel cameras) or any combination in between. This allows organizations to preserve their investment as the industry (and you) rapidly adapt to IP-based technologies.

Data Integration - Once limited to simple Point-Of-Sale (POS) data, the H.264 recorder removes barriers by allowing organizations to associate many datasets with video including caller id, customer value or player cards, and even any back office system or database through our direct database connection feature.

Real-Time Exception Reporting - Immediate alerts give you the ability to manage your business proactively. You decide what data is important to whom, and when something happens, they get notified. Too many high-value coupons at register 1? A freezer ready to thaw? Employees making too many personal calls in the breakroom, or even the drive-thru running to slow? After-the-fact reporting is great for documentation and research, but real-time reporting gives you the power to correct business functions before they impact the bottom line.

Audio Recording - Audio is quickly growing to be an important business management tool. The Vigil software allow you to record up to 32 channels of audio per unit in clear detail. Audio assists organizations in not only managing the custoemr experience, it also allows you to understand the events that lead to both high-performance and under-performing teams and tasks. Audio can come from camera microphones, headset audio systems or even your telephone system.

Designed for the Enterprise - All Vigil software is designed to work with our Vigil Central Management (VCM) solution which gives you the ability to easily deploy changes to user access rights in an instant to hundreds or thousands of locations. In addition, VCM provides the ability to push out software updates and monitor the health status of the entire network of Vigil recorders.

Built-in Video Analytics - As video analytics is quickly becomes a useful business tool, we have developed and offer a wide-variety of the most sough after applications. In addition, we have built-in the most popular video analytics algorithms directly into our products for no additional charge.

The DVR H.264 is our most versatile recorder offering the best of everything in a single solution. For those wanting the highest quality video, simple to use software, and a highly functional feature set, the DVR H.264 is the right choice.
