The VSX-PTZ1.3 is a high-definition 1.3 megapixel pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) indoor/outdoor IP camera. It is a true day/night network camera that comes standard with a 4.7-84.6mm varifocal lens and a 1/3” Sony progressive-scan CCD sensor designed for use in fluctuating lighting conditions down to 0.02 lux without the need for electronic amplification resulting in superior nighttime video. 

The camera features full two-way audio, alarm input/output, PoE (Power over Ethernet equipped), 18X optical/12X digital zoom capabilities, active infrared cut filter, motion detection alarm, and an SD/SDHC card slot (up to 32GB) for local recording.

With its dual-streaming output, the VSX-PTZ1.3 enables simultaneous high-resolution recording (20fps @ 1280x960; 30fps @ 1280x720) combined with a bandwidth-conserving sub-stream (H.264 or MPEG-4) for remote viewing. When coupled with the VIGIL™ Series of digital hybrid video recorders and video management software from 3xLOGIC, users can easily toggle between these two streams with the click of their mouse for unmatched control of their video network resources. VIGIL Server further enables remote camera viewing using any web viewer or compatible mobile devices or smartphones including iPhones, Androids, iPads, and portable tablets.

Engineered for unobtrusive, easy installation and service, the VSX-PTZ1.3 is compatible with a wide variety of standardized network protocols including PPPoE, TCP/IP, DHCP and HTTP. With its weather-proof (IP66-rated) dome enclosure, the camera is designed to function at top performance in the harshest of environments in temperatures as low as -30°C (-22°F) and as high as 65°C (149°F). The camera comes standard with a 75Ω BNC video output for complementary analog applications and simplified camera focusing during installation.
