Overview

The art of identifying and capturing POS exceptions is the basis behind VIGIL Point-of-Sale (V-POS) exception-based reporting solution. By synchronizing relevant video data to the transactional data captured by V-POS, your investigators are provided a more complete picture of any event in question.

  • POS records are stored in an SQL database on the 3xLOGIC DVR for easy retrieval.

  • Can be configured to automatically look for specific POS exceptions or trends such as multiple voides or "no sales" specific to a cashier.

  • Can be configured to monitor events and alert investigators when a questionable event is detected.

  • POS data is synchronized with correcsponding video data for a complete picture of the transaction.

  • POS records can be viewed live or remotely via VIGIL Client.

  • Can be integrated with VIGIL Video Analytics for advanced transactional filtering such as "no customer present" on returns or voids, or "only one manager present" on price overrides.
