MVR Series - Micro Video Recorder
The Micro Series Video Recorder is small and affordable, yet featured-packed hybrid DVR which uses a full version of our VIGIL software suite. Highly compact and efficient, the MVR can manage and record up to 16 analog or IP cameras and offers internal video storage up to 2 terabytes.
The MVR allows access to all of the same features as it’s more powerful siblings which are the PRO and NDVR but is designed to be more affordable and compact which will limit using many of the advanced features available simultaneously.
Compared to other recorders on the market in this price range, you will find the MVR to excel competitively in every category and provide one of the widest feature sets available from any manufacturer.
The MVR is an excellent choice for nearly any installation, especially since it can be seamlessly mixed and matched with our more powerful recorders allowing you to select the correct amount of power needed for each location while keeping consistent enterprise functionality.
The MVR is fully compatible with all of our Enterprise Applications including VIGIL Central Management.
Overview

FULL FEATURED VIGIL SOFTWARE
The MVR runs a full version of our VIGIL software providing access to a wide array of powerful software modules†. From large multi-location deployments, to economical and size sensitive applications, the MVR is a highly competitive choice.
SMALL SIZE, ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS
The MVR is fully compatible with the entire VIGIL software suite and can be managed with our enterprise VIGIL Central Management (VCM) software alongside any of our other VIGIL products.
INTEGRATED LCD DISPLAY
The LCD display on the MVR provides a variety of useful information allowing the MVR to be run with or without a keyboard and monitor.
EASILY EXPORT FULL QUALITY VIDEO
Video can be easily exported to USB Stick or External CD, DVD or hard drive. Hidden front panel access to the USB ports allows the user to easily attach the storage devices being used for export.
ADVANCED COMPRESSION TECHNOLOGIES
The MVR provides built-in hardware encoding for all analog camera channels with a choice of the latest MPEG4 or H.264 compression algorithms. IP cameras may be stored using the native compression provided by the camera or our proprietary Aztech compression.
MEGAPIXEL IP CAMERA COMPATIBLE
The MVR is highly compatible and optimized for all of the latest megapixel technologies and provide effective tools for the viewing, management and streaming of the latest megapixel video.
NEXT GENERATION PANORAMIC VIDEO
Immersive panoramic video including the latest 180 and 360-degree cameras are easy to navigate using the pan/tilt and zoom features of the MVR. You can use the mouse, keyboard or even an external KBD-300 or compatible joystick to review live or stored panoramic video.

Part Numbers
IP Models - (MVR-xIP) All IP models are true NVR’s and they accept only Network Camera inputs. Analog cameras may be attached to an NVR using external video encoders available from many manufacturer.
Analog Models - (MVR-xAN) All Analog models are full hybrid meaning they may accept either an analog signal (BNC connector) or an IP camera signal (ethernet RJ-45) in any combination.
