1.1 Who we are

Devtrade was established in 2005, we are a specialised Supplier, Design and Marketing Support centre for a range of products used within the Fire and Security Industry throughout South Africa and neighbouring countries.

1.2 What we do

 

Devtrade is a one stop shop for a range of supplier products. We bridge time and space gaps between the client and manufacturer by providing quick and efficient equipment supply, personalized design and quoting assistance as well as a range of marketing information for equipment used within the fire and security industry.

1.3 Where we do it

 

Our customers are service providers active within the fire and security industry throughout South Africa and neighbouring countries. Our office offers sales, design support and warehousing conveniently located in Cape Town.

1.4 How we do it

 

Devtrade have established distribution agreements with a number of suppliers, where it is agreed that they give us shared sales rights (3XLOGIC, BOSCH; HUNT, EVERFOCUS) and exclusive sales rights (FST - Gas Suppression and the DS Series Exit Control Locks) for Southern Africa and other areas in return for us purchasing stock and providing design and sales support to the fire and security trade.

1.5 Our modus operandi

 

Supporting our service providers by providing quick and efficient equipment supply, personalized design and quoting assistance. In addition we also do macro marketing to the corporate client who is the final consumer of the products. End -corporate marketing involves presence at exhibitions, group presentations of products, meaningful representation through media advertorial, e-mail marking and internet exposure.
Devtrade do not provide any external technical resource beyond that of design, sales and marketing support, unless a fully comprehensive training course has been attended. This means that we do not embark on any potential conflictive stance with our customers.
